FAQ’s
What does Delaware Valley Packaging Group do?
Since 1967, DVPG has operated as a full-service packaging partner, offering packaging supplies, equipment, and consultative packaging solutions.
We provide everything from standard packaging materials (corrugated boxes, mailers, tapes, films, strapping, etc.) to advanced packaging systems (carton sealers, air-cushioning systems, automated bagging) and marking & coding equipment.
Our approach: we listen to your packaging challenges, work alongside you to select the optimal materials, equipment, and workflow integration, and support you long-term with service and vendor-management programs.
What industries does DVPG serve?
We serve a broad range of industries, basically any business that ships products or needs packaging and marking/coding operations.
For example: manufacturing, distribution, aerospace (see our aerospace-tape offering) and other specialized markets.
We also support vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and workflow automation, which is beneficial for mid-to-large scale operations.
What are your main product categories?
DVPG focuses on a few major packaging categories, corrugated boxes (custom and stock). Protective packaging (air-cushion systems, paper cushioning, void-fill). Tapes and adhesives. Marking & coding supplies and equipment (high-resolution inkjet, small character inkjet, labeling systems). Packaging equipment and automation (carton sealers, stretch & shrink films, strapping systems).
Do you offer custom packaging solutions or only standard stock items?
DVPG offers both stock as well as customer packaging. Our team is trained to handle any project that comes in front of them. From custom corrugated and foam inserts, to integrating automation into your facility. We emphasize “From off-the-shelf packaging to fully customized designs, we’re here to solve your packaging problems and ultimately grow your bottom line.”
We also provide consultative process reviews and equipment integration, which helps if you have unique packaging, special product requirements or a high level of automation.
Where are you located and what is your history?
DVPG is headquartered in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
The company was founded in 1967 by Stephen J. Kiszely and Thomas B. DiPaolo, who established a reputation for consultative problem-solving and service.
We remain independently family owned, with many long-term employees and a focus on building long lasting customer relationships.
What quality standards or certifications does DVPG hold?
DVPG is proud to be ISO 9001:2015 certified, a globally recognized standard for quality management systems.
This certification demonstrates commitment to consistent processes, continuous improvement and delivering high quality products and services.
How can I request a quote or get started with a project?
You can contact us via the “Contact Us” page on the website, fill out the form (“Full Name, Email, Business Name, What Are You Interested In …”), and select the category (Marking & Coding, Packaging Systems, Packaging Products, Services) that aligns with your needs.
Also, if you already know your requirements (shipment volumes, product dimensions, protection requirements), having that information ready will help us provide you a precise solution quickly.
Another option is calling our office to talk to a live representative regarding your packaging needs and upcoming projects. We find that a phone call or a face to face interaction helps us best understand exactly what you are looking for.
Do you offer ongoing service and support after the sale?
Yes, our relationship with you doesn’t end after the sale; in fact, we consider it just the beginning.
We provide ongoing service, maintenance and consultation to ensure your packaging systems continue to perform and your packaging costs stay optimized.
We also offer and recommend preventative maintenance schedules to limit the down time of your equipment.
What regions do you serve / do you ship nationally?
While we are based in Pennsylvania, our packaging supplies and equipment services support clients beyond the local region. (Note: If you have specific geographic coverage questions, we can clarify shipping/delivery at the time of quote).
We also offer shipping nationwide depending on the product and quantity, but we do tend to focus on the Philadelphia metro and New Jersey markets.
How do you help customers reduce packaging costs or improve packaging efficiency?
We help reduce packaging costs and improve efficiency in a number of ways:
By reviewing the customer’s workflow and recommending optimized materials or equipment: e.g. using automation instead of manual labor, reducing packaging waste.
By selecting the right materials tailored to the product and shipping environment (right-sized solutions prevent over-packing)
By offering consultative service and vendor-management programs to reduce stock waste and simplify procurement.
What makes DVPG different from other packaging distributors?
Long-standing history since 1967, with deep packaging expertise and an emphasis on service.
A consultative, problem-solving approach rather than simply “sell stock items”. We work with your process and workflow.
Comprehensive offerings: supplies, equipment, automation, marking & coding, custom packaging, vendor management; making us a full‐service partner.
Commitment to quality (ISO 9001) and long‐term customer relationships rather than transactional sales.
Do you provide packaging solutions for the aerospace industry?
Yes, we have a dedicated aerospace tape line (“DV Shielding Tape”) that supports aerospace OEM specifications.
We supply stock and custom specialty tapes designed for thermal insulation, bonding/sealing, electrical insulation, EMI shielding and other aerospace-specific applications.
How can I get support for packaging equipment or marking & coding systems?
You can reach out via our “Contact” or “Service & Support” pages. Our team will guide you through matching your workflow to the right equipment, integration into your facility, training, ongoing maintenance and upgrades. For equipment including carton sealers, automatic bagging systems, strapping systems, inkjet/labeling coding machines, we can handle the full lifecycle.
